🚀Support for Accordion Block Titles in Table of Contents (TOC block)

under review
March 25, 2025

Currently, the Table of Contents (TOC) block in Greenshift does not recognize titles from the Accordion block, even when they are set as heading tags (e.g., H2). This limitation makes it difficult to structure content effectively, especially for users who rely on the Accordion block to organize long posts.

It would be incredibly useful if the TOC block could detect and include these titles automatically. This enhancement would improve navigation, user experience, and SEO by ensuring all important headings are properly indexed.

I can’t agree with this. Why do you need this? Accordion block is closed by default, so scrolling to accordion doesn’t have big sense because user will get to closed content section, it will confuse users.

its useful from an SEO point of view. Content in the TOC block will be used for Google to add sitelinks and more in google results. Please make setting to include/exclude accordion blocks in TOC block
