Expand Image Display Size in Fast Image Slider

new
April 28, 2025

Could you please adjust the Fast Image Slider (SEO addon) to display images larger — ideally filling the entire frame and showing full image details? Currently, the slider only works well with 1:1 ratio images, and uploaded images with different sizes still appear too small even after resizing

Exactly, this upgrade is essential. I also need a similar “Media Gallery Slider” to showcase my design projects. It should support both images and videos, as video is now a must-have trend for modern portfolios

we already have Dynamic Gallery block and it already supports video and even 3d models

Dynamic Gallery is quite complex to set up. It requires building a large slider and manually configuring thumbnails, which makes editing cumbersome

I’m aware of the Dynamic Gallery, but it’s quite complex for basic users. It requires too much manual setup for thumbnails and layout. I’m looking for a simple, ‘out-of-the-box’ solution similar to the Simple Slider — something common on e-commerce or portfolio sites (Video + Image) that’s easy to edit without deep customization.

Exactly. This block is quite handy for managing and adding images, but the UI is honestly terrible. There’s way too much whitespace even in the demo with 1:1 ratios. If you use images with different aspect ratios, it looks even worse.

The excessive white space is unnecessarily shrinking the images. There’s a noticeable lack of customization for spacing and aspect ratios, forcing me to stack multiple different blocks just to replicate a layout that this single block should handle

why do not use our another block – Gallery, it has option to convert to slider

Thanks for the suggestion. However, your Gallery block only allows creating a basic slider without built-in thumbnails below it. To achieve a standard ‘Slider with Thumbnails’ layout, I have to manually add multiple blocks and sync them.

This process is time-consuming and difficult to manage or edit later. I believe many basic users like me are looking for ‘all-in-one’ essential features that are simple and ready to use, rather than having to build complex workarounds for standard layouts.
