i think at the moment we can only select one post type for queries. it will be great select multiple post types. for example creating a query with pages, posts, products with a custom taxonomy term \”featured\”

Added. You can now select “Query arguments” in Data source and in custom query you can select multiple post types. This is how it should look

We can add, but this is very dangerous, because different post types can have different structure, taxonomies and even hierarchy. This option can really break your page, especially if you use hierarchy and not hierarchy items like posts and pages.

I just convinced a client to use Greenlight and Greenlight blocks for their new multisite project. I was absolutely certain the query loop could select content across content types (filtered by a custom taxonomy). Greenshift, or rather Greenlight, seemed absolutely designed for this flexibility and freedom! 😅
Choosing content from different sources works perfectly in JetEngine Query Builder or Bricks, too.
Unfortunately, this feature is critical because the slider is supposed to tease various new content from multiple sources.
Are there any plans to remove this restriction? Or do I need to look for a completely different solution? 😫

I’m trying to migrate from Types Toolset (Views) to Greenshift Query Builder. One of the obstacles I’m facing is not being able to select multiple post types in GS query builder. This feature could be very useful in cases where featured posts (as Burak mentioned), related posts and relationships between posts need to be displayed.

I’m late to the party, but I really want to join! I’d love to use Greenlight for a slider that teases content from various sources/CPTs.
I don’t understand why it’s “dangerous.” Most of the time, I only need very specific content from the various sources, like the title, featured image, and excerpt. I might also need custom fields that I’ve set up specifically for this purpose. Either way, I can very well control all the content pulled through the query.
Bricks allows this, as does jetEngine Query Builder. But in this specific case, I’d like to do everything with Greenlight.
    So: Please!! 🙏😅
