I am currently using a yearly subscription that expires on May 6th. I would like to upgrade my account to a Lifetime License.
However, I have some concerns regarding the process:
- Site Integrity: Will upgrading to a Lifetime license cause any disruptions or resets to my current website settings, design, or Greenshift configurations? I want to ensure a seamless transition without any data loss.
- The “Deactivate” Warning: I saw the notice stating: “If you plan to upgrade your subscription to a lifetime license, deactivate the Subscription after the upgrade.” Could you please clarify the exact steps for this? Should I purchase the Lifetime plan first and then manually cancel the recurring yearly subscription in my dashboard?
- Renewal Backup Plan: If the Lifetime upgrade is a complex manual process, I might consider renewing my yearly subscription instead. Is it possible to pay for the renewal before May 6th to prevent any “Pro” features from being temporarily disabled due to potential bank transfer delays?
My main priority is to keep my website’s Pro features active without any downtime. What is the recommended path for a smooth upgrade to Lifetime?
